This is a wacky local landmark ...somethin' you don't see everyday.

One way the town of Sedona tries to preserve its beauty is by enforcing strict zoning and building codes. When McDonalds moved in, they were told they weren't allowed to hang up their Golden ArchesTM. They had to pick another color, something more harmonious with the local landscape.

McDonalds lost the resulting court battle ...and, Voila! the United States' only teal arches.
