Well, it’s not what you think. My site going down a while back was not some transparent attempt to fill up the tip jar. I wasn’t taking hostages.
I had a misunderstanding with my web hosting service. I called and checked a couple weeks ago that my domain name renewal was automatically billed to my account. I was told, “Yes, don’t worry.”
…but it’s not…”Sorry, you’ll need to e-mail Network Solutions”. What?!
As with many things in life, it was nothing a credit card number (and a great deal of patience) couldn’t fix.
