I found a cool website about westerns. (I’m gona try and copy their top 30 list into my palm pilot.) Also, I’ve started an essay about the iconography of the cowboy boot, the essay by Gary Johnson is kinda helpful.

Today is my birthday.

Yesterday, to celebrate, Scott MacLeod took me and my dogs on an adventure…an exploration of someplace none of us had ever been before, the old Albany dump. It’s got piles of aging industrial rubble, sea breezes, wild-flowers, and some salty art, just sittin’ out there for the heck of it. (…here’s more of the story.) We had a very swell time.

So, I was across the street at Starbuck’s, and I asked the Magic 8 Ball on the counter, “Will I ever get my web page updated?” It replied….

Ok…I admit it. I’ve been off feelin’ sorry for myself the last couple-o-days, in part ‘cuz of another one of my failed attempts at a webby nomination. Next year, I think I’ll spend my entry fee on something more practical like lottery tickets, or maybe postage on a ebay.com 5 ‘n’ 1. Anyway….today I’m home pluggin’ away at some page updates.
