So, I put up some Christmas lights, first time ever and I’ve lived here 6 years. All the old timers on the street keep saying out loud how nice the street “usta look”…and one by one everyone here under the age forty is buckling under the pressure…now off buying lights, staple guns, and extension cords. I went for what I knew best, the big ol’ C9’s…the screw in bulbs…no racing or blinking, just a sure and steady holiday glow. (Once the rain stops, I might borrow my neighbor’s ladder and try putting the lights up over my standing five foot limit.)
It was a boot day today. I’ve got a pile of bootmakers to add to my Texas lists. I think need a “hired gun”…someone to recode my bootmaker lists to generated by a database. Now that I’ve got the 2 Texas lists, I literally have twice as much work. Stay tuned, I’ve got some new weblinks to show ya…maybe by Friday?
Today, I’m home working for my day job. I did however do one “boot thing” so far today. I fix my weblog…it mysteriously stopped working…wouldn’t let me post. That’s how a lot of things go. The software changes, “evolves” I guess…and then I have to keep up on my end.
